Alderton-Lythgoe Award – Pupils of the school have also won the Alderton-Lythgoe Award, which is presented by the A.R.I.S.D.A. to the pupil that achieves the highest marks in an examination or medal test throughout the entire association.

Eisteddfodau – 2009 was the first year that pupils represented The Janet Denney School of Dancing at Eisteddfodau, achieving even more awards for themselves and the school. The school now alternated biannually between competing at the Urdd and National Eisteddfodau.
